Detection of objects using a magnetometer
The magnetometer function measures the Earth's magnetic field. Distortions in the magnetic field indicate possible outcomes. In this way, long-buried artifacts, such as treasure chests, ancient ammunition and other iron objects, can be discovered. Experienced treasure hunters use the magnetometer even before 3D ground scanning to "clean" the measuring field of small objects close to the surface.

The 3D Ground Scan feature helps treasure hunters, military prospectors, and historians locate cavities and artifacts underground. Possible detection measurement data is displayed on the screen of your Android smartphone (or tablet) via the OKM Fusion Light app and can be saved for later analysis. You can get a more detailed 3D image by transferring the obtained data to your computer and analyzing it using Visualizer 3D software.

With Visualizer 3D software, measurement data from a 3D soil analysis can be displayed in a detailed 3D graph on the computer.
