GeoSeeker uses a Schlumberger-based geoelectric measurement procedure to read the apparent resistance of the Earth. Based on soil impedance, the detector is able to locate groundwater deposits, water-bearing gravel and groundwater surface as well as cavities such as caves, tunnels, chambers, etc., therefore, the geophysical detector can be used as a water detector or cavity detector at the same time.

GeoSeeker measurement modes
GeoSeeker hardware components are entirely controlled by a modern Android tablet. All commands and measurement results are transmitted wirelessly via Wi-Fi. With the pre-installed software, you don't have to do anything more than choose one of three supported measurement modes:
Active Scan (Fine)
With this measurement mode, GeoSeeker uses two electrodes to inject electrical energy into the ground. Two additional electrodes measure the potential difference (voltage drop) at the measurement points in order to calculate the resistance value. This mode is used to detect underground water deposits, hidden caves or even impermeable layers and obstructions in the basement. In Active Scan, you specify a specific depth range at which you will perform the measurement. So you would set the starting depth and ending depth between 5 meters (16 feet) and 250 meters (820 feet).
Active Scan (fast)
This scan mode is a quick version of Active Scan. In this mode, the detector also injects electrical energy into the ground and measures the potential difference (voltage drop) to calculate the apparent resistance to the ground.

With this measurement mode, GeoSeeker uses only two electrodes to read the normal voltage in the ground (no electrical energy is injected into the ground). This mode is used to detect underground running water.
GeoSeeker
GeoSeeker provides step-by-step instructions to help you complete the measurement. You do not have to do anything other than follow these instructions until the measurement is complete. After the measurement is completed, the values ​​are visualized in a 3D image that is displayed on the tablet screen. The program provides some color adjustment capabilities to improve the 3D graphical representation of aquifers, aquifer pebbles, the aquifer surface (represented in bluish colors) as well as cavities, caves, tunnels, chambers or impermeable layers (indicated in reddish colors).
